Date:  Saturday 17th August

 Time:  10:00

Meeting Place: Alltycrib (Talybont) Mine, Mid Wales.

Technically, Alltycrib is termed a mixed mine, although it was mainly worked for lead with large scale mining starting in 1637.  The mine complex offers both adit levels and shafts with the opportunity to view many underground artefacts and examples of early mining techniques.

The mine is located within the Forestry to which we will have access on the day.  Access will be via a Forestry barrier at SN 649 899

Designated parking areas in black. Entry at SN 649 899

You will need to bring a packed lunch and your SRT kit.  Some wading may also be involved.
