The Team held a rescue practice in a mid Wales mine on Saturday 15th May. We practiced packaging two casualties into stretchers and hauling them up a couple of short pitches. We were also able to try out new digital radio hand sets which the Team has bought to replace our ageing analogue handsets. The extra capabilities of the new digital handsets is very impressive as they have GPS tracking.
However these things do not come cheap! Please help, if you can, by visiting our fundraising page.
This was a good practice which attracted a sizeable turn out. Many thanks to the Silver Mountain Experience at Llywernog, Ponterwyd who allowed us to use their mine and their surface buildings to conduct our operation.
