South Wales Search And Rescue Association

As well as the BCRC, the Team is also a member of the South Wales Search and Rescue Association (SWSARA)

SWSARA is one of eight regional organisations under the national umbrella of Mountain Rescue England and Wales and comprises of Four Mountain Rescue Teams (MRT) one Cave Rescue Team (CRT) and the Welsh section of the Search and Rescue Dogs Association (SARDA)

As well as forming a mutual support network, the six teams meet up at least once a year to train together, ensuring that the latest skills, protocols and equipment developments are shared throughout the Association.
