About the TeamSouth & Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team provide a search and rescue service for People and Animals requiring assistance underground, 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.
Working on behalf of the Police and Fire Service, SMWCRT respond to a wide range of incidents, including lost or injured cavers, trapped pets and livestock, missing persons and technical support to other rescue services. We operate in caves and mines across the South and Mid Wales area. |
How to HelpThe Team is funded entirely through kind public donations. It costs over £16,000 a year for us to maintain this rescue ready service. All donations help to fund our three equipment stores, Landrover Ambulance and specialist training for the volunteers that make up our Team.
